With the recent challenges brought about by typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng, batch '84 proved their concern again by assisting batchmates who were badly affected by the calamities.  First to respond was batchmate Pastor Gerry Vallo who through his church, Jesus the Living God, immediately extended his support to the batch.

Last October 17, just days after typhoon Pepeng, batch Officers and representatives met with Pastor Gerry for the immediate distribution of the relief assistance.  Through the JLG's Sagip Buhay Project, 50 batchmates were recipients of the relief goods.  Each pack consists of 2 kilos of rice, 2 cans of sardines, 2 packs of instant noodles, 1 bottled water, ¼ kilo sugar, 25 gm coffee and clothing.  Distribution was done on October 18 and 19 at batchmate Dra. Elvie Manaois-Arana's residence in W.A. Jones, Calasiao.  Pictures of the assistance activities are now in the website's photo gallery.
